Dr. Pam Shipp has received international recognition as an educator and psychologist. For 20 years she offered leadership courses at the Center for Creative Leadership and is the founder of the consulting firm PL Shipp & Associates. She is an adjunct professor at Denver University’s graduate school of counseling psychology. She graduated from Colorado College in 1969 as one of only three black women at the college at the time.
Shipp receives praise from community leaders for the mental health services she provides in the Southeast. She is the “go to” professional when there are mental health crises. She has been an active leader in Black psychologist organizations at the local, state and national level.
In 2022 she is expected to continue to train the next generation of Southeast leaders and to assist in aiding in addressing mental health issues in the community.
